Find the perimeter and area of each triangle below.

The area of a triangle is equal to ()(base)(height).
The perimeter of a triangle is the sum of the lengths of all the sides.

  1. A triangle with a base of 14 cm, left side, 15 cm, and right side, 12 cm. Two internal triangles are created by a line segment, of 13 cm, drawn from the upper vertex, to the base, at right angles.

  1. A triangle with a base of 25 inches, left side, 20 in, and right side, 15 inches. Two internal triangles are created by a line segment, of 12 in, drawn from the upper vertex, to the base, at right angles.

    this triangle, how long would the string have to be?
