Avra, Evan, and Tam are working on a survey. They each need to poll people over the weekend to determine if the subject of a proposed mural downtown should be wildlife, sports, or black history. Avra forgets about her homework until the last minute, so she quickly surveys her family and any relatives she can reach on the phone. Evan talks to some of the people in the stands at his baseball game on Saturday, and Tam questions people leaving a local church. Each gets very different results. Explain why.

What type of sample did each person take? How did this affect their results?
