2-75.

Solve each generic-rectangle puzzle. For each part, write a multiplication sentence, as you did in problem 2-72.

1. Generic Rectangle Top Edge Left is blank Top Edge Right is $+4$ Left Edge Top is $30$ Interior Top Left is $1500$ Interior Top Right is blank Left Edge Bottom is blank Interior Bottom Left is $250$ Interior Bottom Right is blank.
• What do you need to multiply $30$ by to get $1500$? This will give you the top edge length of the rectangle. Can you then figure out what must go below the $30$ in order to get the area of $250$?

1. Generic Rectangle Top Edge Left is blank Top Edge Middle is Blank Top Edge Right is$+7$ Left Edge Top is $40$ Interior Top Left is blank Interior Top Middle is $2400$ Interior Top Right is blank Left Edge Bottom is blank Interior Bottom Left is $1600$ Interior Bottom Middle  is blank Interior Bottom Right is $56$
• Some missing parts have been filled in. Do they make sense? Now try to fill in more parts yourself.
