Figure out whether each of the following pairs of fractions is a pair of equivalent fractions. Be sure to show all of your work or explain your thinking clearly.

1. $\frac{1}{4}\text{ and }\frac{25}{100}$

Multiply the numerator and the denominator of the first fraction by $25$ and compare your answer to the second fraction.

$\frac{1}{4}\cdot\frac{25}{25} = \frac{25}{100}$

These are equivalent fractions.

1. $\frac{3}{5}\text{ and }\frac{12}{15}$

Use the same method as in part (a).

1. $\frac{4}{5}\text{ and }\frac{5}{4}$

Are either of these fractions less than or greater than $1$?
