If you had $12$ pieces of licorice to share equally among $5$ people, how much licorice would each person get? Be sure to show your thinking clearly.

Draw $12$ pieces of licorice and give out as many whole pieces as you can to each person making sure everyone has an equal amount. 5 groups of 2 red lines, numbered from 1 to 5, with 2 red lines, labeled, remaining.
