Copy and complete each of the Diamond Problems below. The pattern used in the Diamond Problems is shown at right.

Generic Diamond Problem. One number, X, is located on the left side. The second number, Y, is located on the right side.  The bottom number is the sum of the two numbers, X and Y. The top number is the product of the two numbers, X and Y.

  1. Diamond Problem. Left blank, Right blank, Top 15,  Bottom 8

  1. Diamond Problem. Left 3, Right 1, Top blank Bottom blank

  1. Diamond Problem. Left 5, Right blank, Top 10, Bottom blank

  1. Diamond Problem. Left 1 divided by 2, Right 1 divided by 3, Top blank,  Bottom blank

Multiply the left and right squares, and place the product in the top square.
The bottom square consists of the sum of the left and right squares.
