Factor each polynomial.

1. $64x^2-y^2$

This is a difference of squares.

$(8x+y)(8x−y)$

1. $12x^2-xy-6y^2$

Use a generic rectangle and
a diamond problem to factor.

$(4x−3y)(3x+2y)$

1. $4x^2+12x+9$

This one is a perfect square trinomial.

1. $x^2-3x+18$

Can you find two numbers that
multiply to $+18$ and add to $−3$?
