10-118.

If $f(x)=5x+2$ then:

 $f(x)−3=(5x+2)−3$ also $f(2x)=5(2x)+2$ $=5x−1$ $=10x+2$

Use these same ideas with $f(x)=3x−2$ find these expressions:

1.  $f(x)+3$

$f(x)+3=$
$3x−2+3=$

$3x+1$

1.  $f(3x)$

$f(3x)=3(3x)−2$

1.  $3·f(x)$

$3(3x−2)$

1.  $f(x+3)$

Use the same method as part (b).
