If $f(x)=x^2−2$ then:

 $f(x)−3=(x^2−2)−3$ also $f(2x)=(2x)^2−2$ $=x^2−5$ $=4x^2−2$

Use these same ideas with $f(x)=(x+1)^2−3$ find these expressions: .
