Solve each inequality algebraically. Then represent your solution on a number line.

1. $5x-7\ge2x+5$

$x\ge4$

1. $6x-29>4x+12$

1.  $x^2\le-4x+5$

$x^2=-4x+5$

$x^2+4x-5=0$

Factor and use the Zero Product Property to solve for the boundary points. Place the boundary points on a number line then test a point in each region to determine which regions contain the solutions.

1. $\left|2x-7\right|>31$

Solve two equations to find the boundary points:
$2x-7=31$
$2x-7=-31$

$x>19\ \text{or}\ x<-12$
