Solve each equation below for the indicated variable.

1.  $3x−2y=18 \text{ for } x$

Add $2y$ to both sides.

$3x=18+2y$

Divide both sides by $3$.

$x=6+\frac{2}{3}\textit{y}$

1.  $3x−2y=18 \text { for }y$

$y=\frac{3}{2}x-9$

1.  $rt = d \text { for } r$

Divide both sides by $t$.

1.  $C=2\pi r \text{ for }r$

Divide both sides by $2\pi$.

$r=\frac{C}{2\pi}$
