6-75.

Simplify each expression using positive exponents only.

1. $( \frac { 3 x } { y ^ { 2 } } ) ^ { 2 }$

Use the Power of a Power property of exponents and simplify.

$\frac{3^{1\cdot 2}\cdot x^{1\cdot 2}}{y^{2\cdot 2}}$

1. $(6x^3)(3xy)^{-1}$

Rewrite as a fraction.
Use Giant Ones to simplify.

$\frac{6x^3}{3xy}$

1. $\frac { ( 2 x ) ^ { - 2 } } { ( 2 x ^ { 3 } ) ^ { - 1 } }$

$\frac{(2x^3)^1}{\left(2x\right)^2}=\frac{2x^3}{2x\cdot2x}$
