On graph paper, graph a line with $y$-intercept $(0, −4)$ and $x$-intercept $(3, 0)$. Write the equation of the line.

Plot the two points and draw a line connecting them. Draw a slope triangle and find the rise over the run.

Remember $y = mx + b$
Substitute the slope that you found for $m$, and the $y$-intercept (given) for $b$.
