The Offset feature allows you to reference prior values in a calculated graph.

The current value is "0", the prior value is "1", the next prior value is "2" and so on as shown below.

The Offset Feature is available in Calculated and Comparison graphs.

Period Offset must be adjusted prior to adding the graph to the formula table:

## Customise Offset

The example above shows how to offset using periods (prior graph values). Now it's possible to customise the offset based on frequency, ie weekly, monthly, yearly, etc., as shown below.

Using frequency offset, it's possible to view a graph in any frequency and see the prior week, month or year values.

## Using Offset to Calculate Change in Values

In the following example, the number of new users per week is calculated using the Total Users graph.

The formula is:

Total Users this week - Total Users Last Week = Number of New Users
