Remember that the solution to the equation $x^3 = 216$ is called the cube root of $216$, which is $6$. The cube root of $216$ is written as $\sqrt [ 3 ] { 216 }$. The idea is similar to the idea of a square root, except that the solution, $6$, must be cubed (multiplied by itself three times) to become $216$. Use this information to evaluate each of the following expressions.

1. $\sqrt [ 3 ] { 27 }$

What number $n$, makes this equation true:
$n \times n \times n = 27$?

1. $\sqrt [ 4 ] { 81 }$

Refer to part (a), but notice you are dealing with $4$ factors.

1. $\sqrt [ 3 ] { - 64 }$

Refer to part (a) and notice that you are dealing with a negative value.

1. $\sqrt [ 3 ] { 1 }$
