On graph paper, plot and connect the points to form quadrilateral $QUOP$ if its vertices are $Q(5, 4)$, $U(2, 4)$, $O(–1, 10)$, and $P(6, 10)$.

1. Calculate the perimeter of $QUOP$. Write your answer with appropriate precision.

When finding distance on a graph, create right triangles and use the Pythagorean Theorem to calculate lengths.

2. Rotate quadrilateral $QUOP$ $90º$ clockwise ($↻$) about the origin to form quadrilateral $Q^\prime U^\prime O^\prime P^\prime$. What is the slope of $\overleftrightarrow { Q ^ { \prime } P ^ { \prime } }$?

• Remember slope is $\frac{ \Delta y }{ \Delta x }$
