Solve each of the following equations.

1. $\frac { 1 } { 6 } x + \frac { 2 } { 3 } = \frac { 1 } { 4 } x - \frac { 1 } { 3 }$

Multiply through the equation to get rid of the fractions.
Use a common denominator of $24$:
$4x+16=6x−8$

Combine like terms and solve for $x$.

$x=12$

1. $0.15(w+2)=0.3+0.2w$

Multiply $(w+2)$ by $0.15$ and combine like terms.
Multiplying by $100$ could also be useful to eliminate the decimals.

$w=0$

1. $\frac { 8 x } { 6 } = \frac { 72 } { 54 }$
