For each triangle below, use your triangle shortcuts from this lesson to find the missing side lengths. Then find the area and perimeter of the triangle.

  1. Right triangle, horizontal leg labeled, square root of 2 meters, angle opposite horizontal leg labeled, 45 degrees.

  1. Right triangle, hypotenuse labeled, 10', angle opposite horizontal leg, 60 degrees.

Perimeter Calculation

A right triangle with a height of square root of 2, base of square root of 2 meters, and hypotenuse of square root of square root of 2 squared + square root of 2 squared. 45 degrees angle is in between the height and hypotenuse.
