If you had pieces of licorice to share equally among people, how much licorice would each person get? Be sure to show your thinking clearly.

Draw pieces of licorice and give out as many whole pieces as you can to each person making sure everyone has an equal amount. 5 groups of 2 red lines, numbered from 1 to 5, with 2 red lines, labeled, remaining.
