Simplify each expression below.

1. $(4.76)(12.5)$

Multiply the two numbers. Be sure to count the total number of decimal places!

$(4.76)(12.5)=59.500$

1. $45.6+23.68$

Add the two numbers by lining up the decimal point in both numbers. Putting in 0's as place holders on the end of a number can help with lining up the decimals.
