Number of Students on the Trip

Bus Cost per Student ($)

For each number in the table, divide by the number of students to find how much the bus will cost for each student going on the trip. For it to be proportional, it must satisfy for some , where is the bus cost per student and is the number of students on the trip.

This is not a proportional relationship. Explain why not.
