Simplify each expression.
Multiply the numerators together and multiply the denominators together. Then simplify.
Remember, when you multiply you do not need to line up the decimal points. You do need to decide how many decimal points to put in the answer, however.
Find a common denominator then combine.
Add the whole numbers together. Find a common denominator for the fractions and add those separately.

Convert the decimal into a fraction or the fraction into a decimal before combining.
