Sketch an example of a graph that meets the description below.

  1. non-linear and decreasing

    A non-linear graph should not have a constant growth rate.

    Does a decreasing graph go in the negative or positive direction?

  2. linear and increasing

    Remember that linear growth grows by adding the same amount each time the -value increases.

    An increasing graph shows the line traveling in a positive direction.
