Simplify each expression.  

Remember: When you are multiplying fractions, multiply the numerators together and the denominators together. When you are adding fractions, find the common denominator.

  1. Make the expressions fractions greater than one, then find the common denominator.

  1. Make the two numbers similar; make both numbers fractions or make both numbers decimals. Be careful of the signs.
