    Hector hiring a new employee.

    1. Use Hector’s data to estimate how much he makes, assuming he has worked at the company for 12 years.

    2. Hector is hiring a new employee who will work 20 hours a week. How much should the new employee earn for the first week?

Create an equation representing the table above, where:
y = salary per hour
x = number of years at company

During the first year of work (0), the salary per hour is $6.25.

y = 6.25 + .75x

$15.25 per hour
