Copy and complete each of the Diamond Problems below. The pattern used in the Diamond Problems is shown at right.

Generic Diamond Problem. One number, x, is located on the left side. The second number, y, is located on the right side.  The bottom number is the sum of the two numbers, x and y. The top number is the product of the two numbers, x and y.

  1. Diamond Problem. Left 0.3, Right blank, Top 1.5,  Bottom blank

    What is divided by ?

  1. Diamond Problem. Left 0.2, Right 17, Top blank,  Bottom blank

    Add and to fill the lower box.
    Multiply them to fill the upper box.

  1. Diamond Problem. Left 0.2, Right blank, Top 2.6,  Bottom blank

    Can you find the sum of and ?
