Find the equation of the exponential function $y=ab^x$ passing through the points $(2,3.84)$ and $(3,3.072)$. .

Substitute the points into the equation.
$3.84=ab^2$
$3.072=ab^3$

Solve $3.84=ab^2$ for $a$, then substitute that into the other equation and solve for $b$.

Once you have solved for $b$, substitute that value back into one of the original equations and solve for $a$.
