Fully investigate the function $g(x)=\frac{x+2}{x-1}$ on graph paper and name all $x$- and $y$-intercepts. What happens at $x=1$?

Notice that $x=1$ makes the function undefined.
Try making a table and using $x=0,0.5,0.8,0.9,1.1,1.2,1.5,2$.

$y$-intercept: $(0,−2)$
$x$-intercept: $(−2,0)$
There is no value for $g(1)$ because dividing by zero is undefined.
This creates a break in the graph.
