1. A line with slope of $0$ that passes through the point $(6,-11)$.

A line with a slope of $0$ is horizontal, so all points have the same $y$-coordinate.

Substitute $0$ for $m$ in the equation below. Then substitute the $y$-coordinate from the given point in for $b$. $y=mx+b$

2. A line that passes through the points $(12,12)$ and $(20,6)$.

What is the rise from the first point to the second? What is the run? Divide the rise by the run and you will have the slope.

Substitute the slope for $m$ in the equation below. Then substitute the $x$- and $y$- coordinates of one of the given points for $x$ and $y$, respectively. Then solve for $b$. $y=mx+b$

$y=−11$
