Copy and complete each of the Diamond Problems below.
The pattern used in the Diamond Problems is shown at right.

Generic Diamond Problem. One number, X, is located on the left side. The second number, Y, is located on the right side.  The bottom number is the sum of the two numbers, X and Y. The top number is the product of the two numbers, X and Y.

  1. Diamond Problem. Left  3 and 1 divided by 2, Right 1 divided by 2, Top blank,  Bottom blank

    Use the pattern in the diamond above to help you finish the diamonds.

    Diamond Problem. Left  3 and 1 divided by 2, Right 1 divided by 2, Top 7 divided by 4,  Bottom 4

  1. Diamond Problem. Left blank,  Right blank, Top negative 28,  Bottom 3

    Diamond Problem. Left  7, Right negative 4, Top negative 28,  Bottom 3

  1. Diamond Problem. Left  negative 7,  Right blank, Top blank,  Bottom negative 15
