Find the $x$- and $y$-intercepts of the graphs of the two equations below.

1. $y=2x^2+3x−5$

To find the $x$-intercepts, substitute $0$ for $y$, and solve for $x$. To find the $y$-intercepts, substitute $0$ for $x$, and solve for $y$.

$x:(1,0),\left(-\frac{5}{2},0\right)\ \ y:(0,-5)$

1. $y = \sqrt { 2 x - 4 }$
