CPM Homework Help : CCA2 Problem 5-26

Make a graph of $f ( x ) = \frac { 1 } { 2 } ( x - 1 ) ^ { 3 }$ and then graph its inverse on the same set of axes.

Hint:

Identify 3 or more points on $f(x)$ to get you started. Since an inverse switches $x$ and $y$ -values, you can do that, too.

Example 1:

$(3,4)→(4,3)$

Example 2:

$(1,0)→(0,1)$
