6-13.

Multiply or divide and simplify each of the following expressions. Homework Help ✎

1. $\frac { 3 x } { x ^ { 2 } + 2 x + 1 } \div \frac { 3 } { x ^ { 2 } + 2 x + 1 }$

Change the division problem to multiplication.

$\left( \frac{3x}{x^{2}+2x+1} \right) \left( \frac{x^{2}+2x+1}{3} \right)$

Simplify by removing Giant Ones.

x

2. $\frac { 3 } { x - 1 } \cdot \frac { 2 } { x - 2 }$

You can use a generic rectangle to help you multiply the denominators.
