6-73.

This problem is a checkpoint for multiplying and dividing rational expressions. It will be referred to as Checkpoint 6A.

Multiply or divide each pair of rational expressions. Simplify the result.

1. $\frac { x ^ { 2 } - 16 } { ( x - 4 ) ^ { 2 } } \cdot \frac { x ^ { 2 } - 3 x - 18 } { x ^ { 2 } - 2 x - 24 }$

2. $\frac { x ^ { 2 } - 1 } { x ^ { 2 } - 6 x - 7 } \div \frac { x ^ { 3 } + x ^ { 2 } - 2 x } { x - 7 }$
