7-108.

Sketch a graph of $f(x) = \frac { 1 } { 2 }(x + 1)^3$. Then sketch its inverse and write the equation of the inverse.

Remember that you interchange $x$ and $y$ to find the inverse.

$x = \frac{1}{2}(y + 1)^3$

$2x = (y + 1)^3$

$y + 1 = \sqrt[3]{2x}$

$f^{-1}(x) = \sqrt[3]{2x} - 1$
