A-8.

For the function$f ( x ) = \frac { 6 } { 2 x - 3 }$, find the value of each expression below.

1. $f(1)$

Substitute $1$ for every $x$.

$f(1)=−6$

1. $f(0)$

1. $f(−3)$

1. $f(1.5)$

$f(1.5)=$ Undefined. You can't divide by $0$.

1. What value of $x$ would make $f(x)=4$?

$4=\frac{6}{2\textit{x}-3}$

$x=2.25$
