Write the first five terms of each sequence.

1. $t(1)=-3$
$t(n+1)=-2·t(n)$

• $-3, 6, -12, 24, -48$

1. $t(1)=8$
$t(n+1)=t(n)-5$

• Substitute $8$ for $t(n)$ in the second equation to find
$t(n + 1)$, which is $t(2)$.
$t(2) = (8) - 5$
$t(2) = 3$

• $8, 3, -2, -7, -12$

1. $t(1)=2$
$t(n+1)=(t(n))^{-1}$

• $2, \frac{1}{2}, 2, \frac{1}{2}, 2$
