A trapezoid with bottom base 22 feet, top base 15 feet, and an interior angle 45 degrees between left side and base. A right triangle is created by a line segment of 4 feet drawn perpendicular from the upper left vertex to the base.Copy the trapezoid at right on your paper. Then determine its area and perimeter. Keep your work organized so that you can later explain how you solved it. 

Use triangle identities to find the lengths of the two missing sides.
To find the total area, solve for the areas of the two triangles and rectangle separately and then add those areas together.
