12-29.

Recall that the properties of logarithms also apply to the natural logarithms.

1. Rewrite $3\ln(x)+4\ln(2)-2\ln(y)$ using a single natural logarithm.

Review the properties of logarithms in 7.1.4 math notes box.

$\ln\left(\frac{16x^3}{y^2}\right)$

2. Rewrite $\ln[(x-3)(3x+2)]^3$ in expanded form.

Reverse the thinking in part (a).
