Kimberly is always complaining that it is either too hot or too cold. As a matter of fact, she is so picky that she is only happy when it is exactly $72^\circ\text{F}$. At 8:00 a.m. it is $65^\circ\text{F}$. By 3:00 p.m. it is $90^\circ\text{F}$.

1. Is there a time when Kimberly is happy?

Is it possible for temperature to rise from $65^\circ\text{F}$ to $90^\circ\text{F}$ without reaching every possible temperature in between $65^\circ\text{F}$ to $90^\circ\text{F}$ ?

2. If at 6:00 p.m. the temp is $70^\circ\text{F}$, what is the minimum number of times Kimberly was happy today?

At 8:00 am, it was $65^\circ\text{F}$.
At 3:00 pm, it was $90^\circ\text{F}$.
At 6:00 pm, it was $70^\circ\text{F}$.
