1. Write $\mathbf{f}$ and $\mathbf{g}$ in $\mathbf{i}, \mathbf{j}$ form. Then write the $\mathbf{i}, \mathbf{j}$ form for $2\mathbf{f}-\frac { 1 } { 3 }\mathbf{g}$.

   Step 1:

   $2\mathbf{f}-\frac{1}{3}\mathbf{g}=2\Big<4,2\Big>-\frac{1}{3}\Big<3,-6\Big>$

2. Draw and label $2\mathbf{f}-\frac { 1 } { 3 }\mathbf{g}$. Does your diagram confirm your answer from part (a)?
