Sketch the graph of a function with a domain of { $x$ : $-2 ≤ x < 6$ } and range of { $y$ : $y >2$ }. Then sketch a second possible answer. .

Hint:

Answers vary. Notice the $<$ and $>$ symbols associated with $x < 6$ and $y > 2$ . This means the graph gets infinitely close to $x = 6$ and $y = 2$ , but does not touch! As for $x ≤ 2$ , the graph will touch that line, and then stop.
