Recall that the area between a function and the $x$-axis is defined as negative if the region is below the $x$-axis. Therefore, what is $A(f, 2 ≤ x ≤ 12)$ given that $f ( x ) = \frac { 1 } { 2 } x - 6$

It's a triangle with base $= 10$ height $= f(2)$
