*xy*+ 4*y*^{2}+ 10 −*y*+*xy*

Add like terms.

4*x*^{2} + (2*x* − 3*x* + x) + (10 − 3)

4*x*^{2} + 7

It may helpful to rearrange the terms so that all like terms are next to one another before simplifying.
