Rewrite the expressions below in equivalent, simpler forms so that they do not contain negative exponents.

1. $\frac { 4 z ^ { - 3 } } { 20 z ^ { - 1 } }$

• Use exponent laws to simplify the negative exponents.

$\frac{4z^{1}}{20\textit{z}^{3}}$

$\frac{1}{5z^{2}}$

1. $(2^3y^8)(3^2y^{-10})$

• $\frac{72}{y^{2}}$

1. $(6g^3)^{-3}$

• $\frac{1}{\left ( 6g^{3} \right )^{3}}$  Continue simplifying.
