If $f\left(x\right)=7+\left|x\right|$ and $g(x)=x^3-5$, evaluate:

1. $f(-5)$

Substitute the value for $x$.
$f(−5) = 7 +\left|-5\right| = 7 + 5 = 12$

1. $g(4)$

Substitute the value for x.
$g(4)= 4^3 − 5 = 64 − 5 = 59$

1. $f(0)$

• Substitute the value for x.
$f(0) = 7 + \left|0\right| = 7 + 0 = 7$

1. $f(2)$

1. $g(−2)$

Substitute the value for x.
$g(−2) = (−2)^3 − 5 = −8 − 5 = −13$
