Solve the equations below by first rewriting each equation as a simpler, equivalent equation. Check your solutions.

1. $\frac { 2 } { 7 } x + 2 = \frac { 3 } { 10 }$

Multiply both sides by the Least Common Multiple of $7$ and $10$ (the Fraction Buster).

$x = \frac{-119}{20} = -5.95$

2. $\frac { 9 } { 50 } + \frac { 6 x } { 25 } = \frac { 3 } { 10 }$
