Solve the following equations for $x$, if possible. Check your solutions.

1.  $-(2-3x)+x=9-x$

Simplify the equation as much as possible, then solve for $x$.

$x=2.2$

• Isolate the $6$ by multiplying both sides of the equation by the denominator, $x + 2$.
