Welded wire fencing is sold in rolls of $100$ linear feet. A farmer builds a rectangular rabbit pen using exactly one roll of wire. The length of the pen is two feet less than three times its width, and the area of the pen is $481$ square feet.

1. Draw a diagram of the pen and label its dimensions.

What operations describe "two feet LESS" and "three TIMES"?

2. Write two equations to determine the dimensions of the pen, one using area and one using perimeter.

Recall the equation for perimeter of a rectangle:
$2l + 2w =$ Total perimeter

3. Determine the dimensions of the pen.

Use the equations from part (b) to solve for the width (w) and the length (l).
