1. $2x(3x - 4)$

Multiply both terms inside the parentheses by $2x$.

1. $(x + 3)(2x - 5)$

Use an area model to multiply each term in the first binomial by each term in the second binomial.

Before simplifying, you should have four terms (see above).

1. $(2x + 5)(2x - 5)$

$4x^2 − 25$

1. $x(2x + 1)(x - 3)$

It does not matter what order you multiply in.

$2x^3 − 5x^2 − 3x$
